Rest in peace, brother:
Lawrence Goncalves Sr, Larry as we knew him, a beloved Pine State Golf Club member, passed away peacefully at age 74. A long-standing member, Larry was known for his infectious laughter and bubbly personality, his unwavering passion for the game, and his warm, welcoming demeanor toward fellow members and guests alike. Family, loved ones, and friends will miss Larry, but his memory will live. Larry's contributions to the club extended beyond his golfing skills; he also served as Spokane's first black firefighter. Larry's remains are resting at Fairmount Memorial Park Spokane WA.
